Grandioza Vendo
Our Own English High School, Sharjah (Girls) hosted GRANDIOZA VENDO 2024 – The Marketing Masters’ Challenge on Wednesday, 24th October, 2024. This dynamic inter-school competition brought together 12 schools to showcase creativity, innovation, and marketing expertise in DIY product creation and promotion.
The event featured couple of engaging rounds - UPCYCLE SHOWDOWN, PITCH PARADE and QUIZ & QUIP round. In the first round, participants developed unique, upcycled products from low cost/recycled materials, while in the second, they pitched their creations, highlighting marketing strategies and brand potential. The last round of the competition sparked lively exchanges, as contestants tackled judges' questions with wit and insight, defending their product pitches with creativity and flair.
Esteemed judges—Mr. Senthil Rajukumar, Business Developer and Consultant; Dr. Bineesh Shameem, Assistant Professor at City University College, Ajman; and Ms. Nicki Wilson, Global Entrepreneur—praised the event for its emphasis on eco-consciousness, creativity, teamwork, and the commitment of each participating school. The judges commended both the competitors and the students of the Our Own English High school, Sharjah, and the Commerce Department for their efforts in orchestrating a successful and inspiring event

The intra-school debate session, "Take De-Bait," held at Our Own English High School Sharjah (Girls) on 22nd of August, 2024, was a tremendous success.
