Payment Policies
The tuition fees are due prior to the start of the academic year and payable in advance of attendance, at the start of each month. Tuition fees will be invoiced from the time of admission to ensure that payments can be processed before the start of the month. If your circumstances change, it is essential that you contact us in advance of the deadline so that we can guide you on available options. Please note, all tuition fees are in accordance with the fee structure established by GEMS Education under the guidance of SPEA established School Fee Framework.

Please note, all tuition fees are in accordance with the fee structure established by GEMS Education under the guidance of Sharjah Private Education Authority’s established School Fee Framework.
Fee Counter Timings at school: 7.30 A.M. – 3.30 P.M. Friday, Saturday & Sunday off
- The school fees should be paid at the beginning of each month. In cases where dues are not cleared by the 25th, the name of the defaulter will be referred to the SPEA for future action and re-admission will be granted on payment of a re-admission fee subject to the Ministry's approval.

Tuition Fee payable in a year will be collected in 10 installments. Fees will not be collected for the months of July and August. Fees can be paid in advance also.
- Cheques should be made in favour of “Our Own English High School, Sharjah”. Student Name, ID number, Grade and section should be written clearly on the reverse of the cheques leaf.
- All fee dues for the Academic Year inclusive of fees for the month of March must be paid on or before 1st February.
- Classes 10 & 12: All fee dues inclusive of fees for the month of March must be paid on or before 1st February. Admit cards for the Board Examinations will be issued only after all fee & library dues are cleared.
Mode of Payment
- Cash, Cheques (Post-dated cheques will not be accepted), Bank transfers, Credit/Debit cards and GEMS FAB Credit Card.
- We also reserve the right to charge an administrative fee of AED 250/- for any cheque returned by your bank.
Online
- School has provided each parent with a user name and password for Online Fee payments.
- Tuition fee payment can be made online through www.gems.ae – GEMS Parent Portal or through GEMS Connect App.
- We encourage online payment rather than sending cash or cheques through students.

Fee for New Admissions
For new admissions, a fee of AED 500 will be due upon acceptance of the Offer Letter and confirmation of enrollment in the applicable academic year.
This fee is non-refundable/ non-transferable but adjustable against the first term (first 3 months) tuition fee in three installments once the student joins the school.

Transport Fees
Transport for students is an outsourced service and provided by Bright Bus Transport (BBT) with an aim to provide quality and safe service and as per the regulations of the local transport authority. Our support staff who man the buses, in the capacity of conductors, will ensure care of students, and also maintain discipline. Please note that in the event of student disciplinary problems in the bus, the school is entitled to take disciplinary action as is necessary. Online payment of transport fees via the website is a facility that can be availed of; for timely payment.
