  • Where is the school located?

    You will find Our Own English High School centrally located within Industrial Area-6 of Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

  • What facilities are available at school?

    The facilities provided in the school are in par with international schools.The school features separate blocks for kindergarten, primary and the senior students. Each block has ample facilities designed to meet the specific requirements of the students.

  • What languages are offered at OOS?

    English is the main language of instruction. In addition, the school offers Arabic, French, Hindi, Urdu and Malayalam.

  • Can we pay the tuition fees online?

    School has provided each parent with a user name and password for Online Fee payments.

    Tuition fee payment can be made online through www.gems.ae – GEMS Parent Portal.

  • Do you provide transport to and from school?

    Yes, transport will be provided to and from the school.

    Bright Bus Transport (BBT), which is part of STS Group, provides Our Own English High School - Sharjah with exceptional transportation services, bringing over a decade of experience as a trusted partner in the education sector.

    To register your child for the school bus service, please contact the school’s dedicated Service Delivery Executive (SDE):

The team will assist you with all your transportation needs and ensure a smooth and efficient service for your child.

     

  • What arrangements are done for own transport students?

    The Gold Card is issued to students from Grade 5 onwards after receiving a written request from the parents authorizing their wards to walk home on their own without a guardian. Own transport users with a Gold card will not be allowed to stand unaccompanied outside the school gate as it poses a serious hazard due to traffic congestion.

    The Silver Card is issued to students using Own Transport who are accompanied by their parent/guardian. The card must be shown by the parent/guardian to the teacher in charge of the Own Transport room. Students of Grade I-IV are not authorized to collect their younger siblings.

    Students using Own Transport must be collected from the designated rooms between 2:45pm and 3:00pm.
