National Day celebrations
On Wednesday November 29th, Our Own English High School (Girls) celebrated the 52nd UAE National Day with a special assembly organized by the Arabic Department. The assembly commenced with a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a ‘thought for the day’. They then presented a variety of engaging and remarkable segments, including Emirati poetry, quotations from the respected UAE rulers, a melodious Arabic song showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the UAE, and a vivacious Emirati dance. In their respective classrooms, the children participated in various activities such as fashion shows, quizzes, drawing striking pictures, and designing creative images displaying the UAE culture.
Our Kindergarten representatives Eihaa, Juwayriya, Manha, Farin and Sakina visited the SEA office and wished the authorities a ‘Happy National Day’
