"Creativity is contagious, pass it on." – Albert Einstein
Inkspire’24, held on December 17, 2024, was a vibrant, student-led initiative organized by seasoned student authors from the school who aimed to instill a love for writing among their peers. The event celebrated creativity and storytelling, beginning with an engaging workshop by Ms. Annemieke Woodbridge, Founder of the Young Author Academy, who shared practical tips for crafting compelling narratives. Participants from Grades 4-9 and 11 then showcased their imagination in a story-writing competition based on grade-specific themes.
The initiative cultivated key life skills for all involved. Organizers refined leadership, teamwork, and event management as they planned and executed the competition. Contestants developed creativity, critical thinking, and time management while constructing their stories. Both groups enhanced collaboration and communication skills, fostering camaraderie across grades.
Inkspire’24 was a platform for growth and inspiration, encouraging students to explore the boundless possibilities of storytelling while building essential skills for the future.
