Ideate, Innovate, and Impart!
Our Own English High School Sharjah, Girls hosted the highly anticipated interschool kindergarten digital fest ‘DigiSmartz’ on Tuesday, January 14th 2025. As part of our dedication to nurturing creativity, learning, and collaboration among young minds, the event featured four categories: Digital Painting, Digital Animation, Digital Coding and Unplugged coding (Tale Bot). Students from various schools eagerly took part in the event, showcasing their creativity and imagination by creating stories using digital tools like abcya.com and Scratch Jr.
In line with our commitment to promoting the well-being and overall growth of our students, the fest focused on SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) and SDG 14 & 15 (Life below water & Life on Land). At OOS, we take pride in creating an inclusive environment that is open to all, the T.A.I category aimed to discover and encourage the technological proficiency in learners of all abilities.
GEMS New Millennium School – Al Khail emerged the winner of the overall trophy, taking home the prestigious award in recognition of their outstanding efforts and commitment to digital innovation.
