OOS at Expo 2020

‘Change the way you see the world- Expo 2020’
The students of OOS set out on their first field trip after two years of battling the challenges of Covid-19 pandemic. They were taken on the trip to experience the biggest event of the year – EXPO 2020 Dubai. The students visited the Opportunity District where they witnessed how our lives and actions are interconnected. They also learnt about people worldwide who are transforming dreams and aspirations into the realities of tomorrow and encouraging the youth to be empowered to shape the future by unlocking the potential within themselves. The students also visited many country pavilions that educated them about the present and future technologies. They were amazed by the unique innovations and creations showcased at these pavilions. They received their expo passports and were excited to get it stamped at the pavilions they visited. The students were exhilarated and enjoyed the Expo journey with their friends and teachers. The objective of this trip was to create awareness among the students as to how bringing the world together can catalyze an exchange of new perspectives and inspire action to deliver real-life solutions to real-world challenges. The students realized that there is a ripple effect in everything we do. Even one person can be the key to unlocking billions of opportunities that can help individuals and communities create a better tomorrow, today.
